Respiratory Health

Breathing is fundamental to life. Life truly begins when you inhale your first breath. It's an autonomic function we seldom reflect on, yet breathing affects every cell of the body. It oxygenates the blood, revitalizing organs, cells and tissues. By exhaling, toxins are removed from inside the body. Breathing is crucial for nourishment and relaxation of the brain and nervous system, and it is essential for body and mind.

The respiratory system is responsible for breathing. Respiration is achieved through the nose, mouth, trachea, lungs, and diaphragm. Problems within the respiratory system can lead to ineffective breathing, limiting distribution of oxygen to vital organs and tissues. This can have serious consequences for a number of systems in the body, including the immune, circulatory, nervous, and endocrine systems.

Many conditions interfere with proper breathing. Both allergic and infectious conditions can make breathing a struggle, as can smoking, air pollution and lack of exercise.

The respiratory system can improve significantly with natural approach. And reduce the progression of more serious respiratory diseases, allowing the person to maintain a healthier quality of life.
