The cardiovascular system is the network responsible for transporting oxygen- and nutrient-rich blood to all the different parts of the body, and consists of the heart, blood vessels, and the blood that flows through it. The cardiovascular system is one of the most vital systems of the body, and any obstacle in its function or obstruction in its flow can lead to severe and fatal consequences.

Cardiovascular diseases are the leading causes of death in the world, including heart attacks, strokes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and other conditions of the cardiovascular system. Usually these conditions develop slowly over time and they are strongly connected to lifestyle issues like stress and diet.
Healthy lifestyle choices, healthy nutrition, and being physically active are essential to improve and maintain cardiovascular health, and to prevent  of illnesses and diminish the progression.
